Free trial terms
What the 7-day free trial includes, what happens on day 8, one trial per business, person and card, and when we can end or refuse a trial.
This page has not been through legal review
These terms were written in plain English by the owner and approved by him. They have not been reviewed by a solicitor.
They apply to the free trial on Tradello, Plandello and Tendello. When you start a trial, we record which version of these terms you agreed to and when.
In short
No new free trials have started since 19 October 2026. To try a site now, there is a paid 7-day pass (one payment, no auto-renew). These terms still apply, unchanged, to any trial that started before then, until it ends.
- 7 days free. A card is needed, and nothing is charged during the trial.
- You can see everything your plan covers and open the contacts on 5 projects. No exports.
- Unless you cancel, your plan starts on day 8 and your card is charged.
- One trial per business, per person and per card. No fake details, no second accounts, no copying the data out.
- We can suspend, shorten or end any trial at our discretion, without notice. If we end it, you are not charged.
1. Who we are
The free trial is offered by Mansell Media Limited, trading as Tradello (and as Plandello and Tendello). Company number 17335820, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 184-200 Pensby Road, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7RJ.
These terms sit alongside our Terms of Sale, Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Notice. Where they disagree about the free trial, these terms take priority.
2. Who can have a free trial
- The trial is for businesses, and for people buying on behalf of their business.
- You can have one free trial per business, per person and per payment card, across all three sites and all plans. It doesn’t matter which plan you pick or which email address you use.
- If you, your business or your card have had a free trial before, you won’t get another one. Your plan starts and is charged on the day you subscribe. We tell you this before you enter your card.
3. What the trial includes
- 7 days of the plan you chose. The trial starts when you finish on the payment page.
- You can see every record your plan covers: lists, map, planning, lead pages and the rest.
- You can open the contact details on 5 projects of your choice. Once you open a project it counts towards the 5, and it can’t be swapped for another.
- You get one tender-pack take-off, where your plan includes take-offs.
- No exports during the trial. That means no spreadsheets, downloads, printing, copy-all or mail-all. You can still email or ring a contact you have opened.
- Everything else your plan includes, such as alerts and saved searches, works as normal.
4. Your card, and what happens on day 8
- You need a payment card to start the trial. It is held by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.
- Nothing is charged during the 7 days.
- If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your plan carries on as a paid plan. Your card is charged the plan price shown at checkout on day 8, then every month (or every year on a yearly plan) until you cancel.
- To cancel, use the “Manage or cancel your plan” button in your account settings. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.
- If the payment on day 8 fails, the plan stops until it is paid.
- Mansell Media Limited is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. The price shown is the whole price.
5. Fair use: what is not allowed
To keep the trial available for genuine customers, you must not:
- start more than one trial for the same business or person, whether through new accounts, other email addresses, other cards or colleagues;
- give false or misleading details, such as a made-up name, company or email address;
- share your login, or let anyone outside your business use the trial;
- scrape, crawl, or use automated tools or scripts on the sites, or copy records out in bulk;
- use the data to build a list or database, or resell or pass it on;
- use contact details in a way that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy or data protection law (including UK GDPR and the rules on marketing emails and calls);
- try to get around the trial’s limits, for example the 5-project limit or the export block.
6. We can suspend, shorten or end a trial
- We may suspend, shorten or end any free trial, or refuse to start one, at our discretion and without notice. This includes when we think any of section 5 has been broken, when the details given look wrong, or when a trial looks like a repeat of an earlier one.
- If we end a trial, we cancel the plan that would have followed it, so you will not be charged. If you would like to keep the plan as a paid plan, you can contact us.
- We may also refuse future trials or subscriptions from the same business, person or card.
- Nothing is paid during a trial, so there is nothing to refund when one is ended.
- We may extend a trial or add to its allowance at our discretion. If we extend it, we will tell you the new date of your first charge.
7. When the trial ends
- If your plan carries on: the trial limits come off straight away, and you get everything your plan includes, exports too.
- If you cancelled, or we ended the trial: access to the plan’s screens stops. Contacts you opened are no longer shown. Your account, saved searches and settings are kept, so you can subscribe later (without another free trial).
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Notice.
8. Changes to the free trial
- We may change or withdraw the free trial offer for new customers at any time. A trial that has already started carries on under the terms you agreed to, except as set out in section 6.
- We may update these terms. The version you agreed to is the one that applies to your trial, and we keep a record of it.
9. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
