Terms of sale
What a Tradello purchase is, what it includes, what you confirm before paying, and which version of the agreements applies to your order.
This wording has not yet been through legal review
The summaries on this page describe what each agreement is for. They are deliberately short and plain, and they are not drafted terms: no clause here has been written or approved by a solicitor. The operative wording for the terms of sale, the privacy and UK GDPR Article 14 notices, and the digital-content cancellation right is still being prepared.
Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page. The version you accepted is recorded against your purchase, so which wording applied to your order stays answerable. If you would rather wait for the reviewed wording before buying, nothing here expires.
Who you are contracting with
Tradello is a trading name of Mansell Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17335820.
Registered office: 184-200 Pensby Road, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7RJ.
Write to us about an order at support@tradello.co.uk, or by post to the registered office.
Mansell Media Limited is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and none is recoverable on this purchase. The price shown is the whole price.
What is sold
Tradello sells one thing: a single project, for £49.99. That price buys the project intelligence for that project and every trade package on it, and a link to the published source record, delivered to your account. A project either also includes a published company contact route or it does not, and which one it is is stated before you pay.
It is not a subscription. It does not include the rest of the platform, and no number of single projects adds up to it. A project we would not sell at this price is not sold cheaper — it stays internal until it meets the standard.
Everything in a package is drawn from published public records: published contract and tender notices, published award notices, and planning applications published by local planning authorities. A record states what was published, what was derived from it, and what is an inference, labelled as such with the basis named. Where a field is absent from the source, the package says the source did not publish it rather than filling it in.
The licences those records are published under, and the acknowledgement each licence requires, are set out at Tritium 3.1 and licences. Tradello captured these records; it did not publish them and does not own them.
You become a controller of what you do next — and we stay one of what we do
A package contains professional contact details as published by the source. Availability does not constitute consent to marketing. Nobody in a package has agreed to hear from you, and what you may lawfully send is a judgement only you can make.
A customer who has bought a package can be shown a named professional’s work email address, together with their name and job title, where an identified source published it against that project in that professional capacity. That is a disclosure of personal data to a third party and this site does not describe it as anything softer.
A professionally published UK landline can be in a package — a switchboard, a published duty line, or a named professional’s direct dial — where an identified source published it and that source is a page a human can open. Every telephone route carries the fact that screening against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service is the caller’s own step: this business does not screen and holds no licence to.
No mobile number reaches any customer, at any tier, at any price, whoever published it and whatever label sits beside it. A mobile that is held is retained so that a request from the person it is about can be answered, and it is disclosed to nobody.
When you buy a package you decide what to do with what is in it, so for that processing you are an independent controller in your own right. You are responsible for your own lawful basis for contacting anyone, for your own compliance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 when you send marketing by electronic mail, for screening against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service before you call, and for honouring an objection or an opt-out made to you. None of that is something we can do on your behalf, because we are not the sender and we do not know what you intend to send.
That does not move our own responsibilities onto you, and this page does not pretend it does. We remain responsible for how we collect this material, how we store it, how we classify it, what we decide to disclose and to whom, what we tell the people it is about, how we handle their requests and objections, how we suppress what should not be shown, and how we secure all of it. A term in a contract between us and you cannot make a disclosure lawful that was not lawful when we made it, and nothing you agree to here is treated by us as though it could.
What is and is not in a package, and the categories this product does not yet tell apart, are set out at which contact details Tradello holds.
The three confirmations required before payment
Each is recorded separately against your purchase. These are the exact words shown at the checkout — this page and the checkout read the same source, so they cannot disagree about what was agreed.
- I accept the terms of sale.
- What you are buying is one project, with every trade package on it included for the one fee. Every project includes the project intelligence and a link to the published source record; a project either also includes a published company contact route or it does not, and which one this is is stated before you pay. It is not a subscription and it does not include the rest of the platform.
- I have read the privacy notice.
- Business contact details come from published public records. They are business contact routes only, never consumer or residential details, and any person or organisation can ask to be suppressed.
- I understand this lead is delivered immediately.
- The lead appears in your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. Because it is delivered straight away, it cannot be returned once you have opened it.
What is optional, and stays optional
- Email me when new work appears in my trade and area. (Optional)
- Separate from your purchase, never a condition of it, and you can stop it at any time. Leaving this unticked changes nothing about what you buy.
It is never pre-ticked, never bundled with the required set, never inferred from a purchase, and refusing it never blocks a sale. Consent to be sold to is not consent to be marketed at.
How versions work, and why it matters to you
The version of the agreement set that applied to your order is recorded against the order itself — in the payment record and in the audit log — at the moment you accepted it. Wording is never edited in place: when it changes, the version number changes with it.
That is the whole point of versioning it. Years later, which text you accepted is still answerable, by reference to the version against your order rather than to whatever this page happens to say at the time somebody asks.
The version applying to a purchase made today is 2.5-draft, last changed on 7 October 2026.
What a solicitor still has to supply
Listed rather than glossed over, so you can see the shape of what is missing. Nothing on this page is a substitute for any of it, and no part of it has been drafted here.
- The operative terms of sale
- What is sold and what is not; the accuracy of public-record data and what is warranted about it; limitation of liability; refunds, chargebacks and what happens when a package turns out to be wrong.
- The refund position, now that two kinds of package are sold
- Since personal contact routes were removed, a package either carries a published company contact route or it carries none, and both are described before purchase. V1’s promise — no refunds except where a pack contains zero contact routes — cannot carry over, because a pack with zero contact routes is now a product that is described and chosen rather than a fault. What replaces it, and what a buyer is entitled to when a route turns out to be dead, is for a solicitor to settle. A full position paper has been prepared for that solicitor, setting out the options and a draft clause; a draft is not a term, and nothing in it is in force. Nothing on this site promises a refund in the meantime.
- The formal privacy notice
- The controller, the lawful bases, retention periods, international transfers, the rights of a data subject and how each is exercised.
- The UK GDPR Article 14 notice
- The notice owed to a person whose business contact details were obtained from a published source rather than from them directly, including the categories of data, the sources by name, and the period within which the notice must be given.
- The formal wording around a suppression or data-subject request
- What identification is required before we answer, what response commitment we publish beyond the statutory one, and who inside the business is named as owning a case. The route itself is built and is at /privacy/request — it needs no account, it records the date a request arrives, and it runs the statutory clocks. What a solicitor has still to settle is the wording around it, not whether it exists.
- The digital-content cancellation wording
- The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 wording for content delivered immediately, and a ruling on whether a business buyer is in scope at all.
