Acceptable use
What this site and the material bought from it may and may not be used for, and which of those limits are enforced rather than merely stated.
This page has not been through legal review
The enforced limits on this page were checked against the code on 27 September 2026 and each is named so it can be verified. Everything else is presented as a request rather than as a control, because that is what it is.
No enforcement remedy, exclusion or liability provision has been drafted here or anywhere on this site. The operative acceptable-use wording is part of the terms of sale a solicitor has still to supply.
Your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page. The version you accepted is recorded against your purchase, so which wording applied to your order stays answerable. If you would rather wait for the reviewed wording before buying, nothing here expires.
Who this is for
Tradello is sold to construction businesses buying leads in order to win work. This page is about what you may do with the site and with what you buy from it.
It is deliberately split into two parts: limits the system applies, which are real and checkable, and things we ask, which are not technically prevented. We would rather you knew which was which than read a list that implies all of it is policed.
Limits the system applies
- Exports are capped
- An export returns at most 1,000 rows. The cap is applied by the server on every export, not by the screen, so it cannot be raised by changing a request.
- Sign-in and password-reset attempts are throttled
- Repeated attempts are slowed down, and the throttle is applied before the account is looked up — so it works equally whether or not the address exists, and reveals nothing about which addresses do.
- Only what you have paid for is delivered
- A package is unlocked against your account when payment confirms. Nothing else in the platform opens with it, and no number of single packages adds up to the rest of the platform.
- Some of it is not purchasable at any price
No mobile number reaches any customer, at any tier, at any price, whoever published it and whatever label sits beside it. A mobile that is held is retained so that a request from the person it is about can be answered, and it is disclosed to nobody.
A private person’s contact details are never restored, never enriched and never sold. That applies whatever the source published, whatever any table says, and whatever company is named beside them on the same form.
A contact detail that reaches a named person is shown on that one project’s record and is never included in a download, a spreadsheet or any bulk export. The same detail in a spreadsheet column is a marketing list however it was assembled.
None of these is a setting, a price tier or an account type — see which contact details Tradello holds.
What we ask, and do not technically prevent
None of the following is blocked by the system today. They are requests, and we are calling them requests.
- Do not share your sign-in. There is no seat count and no limit on simultaneous sessions, so nothing stops it. An account is for one business.
- Do not automate access to the site. There is no general rate limit on the signed-in application, which means scripted use would work and would also be the fastest way to degrade the service for everyone. If you want data at volume, ask us rather than scripting it.
- Do not resell or republish what you buy as a product of your own. What is and is not permitted commercially is for the terms of sale, which a solicitor is preparing.
- Do not use a contact route for anything other than approaching that organisation about work. Availability does not constitute consent to marketing. You are responsible for your own lawful basis for anything you send, and for your own compliance with the marketing rules and the preference services.
- Do not extract a person’s name from a source page we link to and build a list from it. The published source may print a case officer or an agent. That page is the publisher’s and using it is your own processing — and it is not covered by the licences that cover the notice data, because personal data is outside them.
- Do not attempt to reach data you have not bought, or to probe the site for ways to.
What happens if somebody does these things
No enforcement remedy is stated on this page, because none has been drafted by a solicitor and an agent may not invent one. What exists today is an account, an audit log and an email address.
What we would actually do first is write to you, because in almost every case this is a misunderstanding about what an account covers rather than anybody trying it on. The consequences of not resolving it are a matter for the operative terms of sale, which are still with a solicitor and are listed as outstanding on the terms of sale.
If you think somebody is misusing this
If you are an organisation receiving approaches you think came from a Tradello package and you want it to stop, write to us — the address is at the foot of this page. We can suppress a route so that it stops being supplied to anybody, which is a better outcome than blocking each sender in turn. If the details are yours personally, the page for you is if your details are in Tradello. Other routes are on help and contact.
